customize QCD to your liking by setting the various Preferenes
and GUI Options. These are located under 'Options' in the
main window menu.
Also be sure to view the 'Help & Tips' section of the about
dialog. It has many tips, hints and help. This section is
under the 'QCD...' option of the main window menu.

- And many bug fixes

3. NEW FEATURES IN 1.2:
-----------------------
(in no particular order)

*** Command Line Options
There are several commands that can be sent to QCD. To
use them, just create a shortcut to the QCD executable. Then add
one or more of the commands to the end of the entry in the 'Target'
section in the properties of the shortcut.
The commands are as follows:
/play - tells QCD to start playing
/play trackX	- tells QCD to start playing track X
/play d:\trackX - tells QCD to start playing track X on CDROM d:
/autoplay	- used for windows auto play feature,
				won't override QCD's current state.
/pause - pause cd (if playing)
/stop - stop cd (if playing)
/trkfwd - go to next track (if playing)
/trkbwd - go back one track (if playing)
/eject - eject (or close) cdrom
/togglewin	- toggle between full and shade mode
/ontop - toggle 'Always On Top'

*** Caching Queries
Hate having to logon to the Internet just to download one
CD? Well, now you can store any amount of CD's in the QCD database
and download the CDDB info for them at a later time - all at once!

*** Better Windows Explorer support
Now when you double click on an Audio CD track (*.cda) in
your Windows Explorer, QCD will switch to the correct drive and
start playing the track you selected. (This only applies when you
have QCD selected as the default player - see Options->Preferences->Startup/Shutdown)

*** Better Exporting
Now with the plain text filter you are able to select the
information you want to export, including the extended info. More
filters are currently in the works, such as an html export and a
delimited ascii export filter.

*** Copy Track in Playlist
Now you can have more than one of any track in the
tracklist. Just hold shift before dragging any track (as you would
when programming it) and a copy of the track is made instead. All
copied tracks are marked as such, and can be removed by right
clicking them.

*** Track Pruning
Now you can have QCD ignore all the small useless tracks
used to hide secret tracks. Just set the length in seconds of any
tracks to ignore, and they won't appear in the tracklist or
quicktrack menu.

*** Skins Support
Now you can have custom made skins to change the look of
QCD. Download other's or make one yourself.
See www.quinnware.com/qcd/skins.html for more info.

*** Full Volume Controls
There is now a CD volume control on the main display for
easy access. Plus a complete mixer set (master/cd volume, bass,
treble, balance) when you click the 'mixer' button.

*** QCD Database Merging
Ever have two or more QCD database from different locations
that you wanted to combine to one? Well, now you can. Look for this
in Options->QCDDatabase->Import

*** Several Useability Options

- data disks can be flagged as such, and you can stop them from
	being queried
- option to open the CDROM in shared mode.
- adjustable network timeout setting
- option to display fuzzy matches or just choose first close match

3. QCD DATABASE FILE:
---------------------
The file QCD stores all download cd information, qcd.qdb,
is a file emulating a file system. Any modifications to the file
not made by QCD, will most likely render the database useless.
Therefore, do not modify this file by hand!
Aside: For the inquisitive, the database file follows the Quake
*.pak file specs.
